Of all of the celebs carrying Celine Luggage Totes that have started to crop up, I think the version that Nicole Richie has is my favorite. Nicole has always had a nose for great handbags, dating back all the way to her days as Paris Hilton’s reality TV sidekick, and she was one of the bag’s early Hollywood adopters.

Not only that, but Nicole’s version of the bag is one of my personal favorites that Celine has ever released. The design lends itself well to color blocking because all of the panels created by the signature piping, the black with ivory trim looks particularly chic because it’s the opposite of what you’d expect. Also, if you look closely, you can tell that Celine has spared no detail. The black leather varies from piece to piece – the trim is smooth and matte while the center has a very noticeable pebbling to it. Now that is how you do neutral colorblocking.
