For those of you who have never seen a picture of me, I am pale. Pale pale. I also don’t sun myself, I don’t self-tan, I don’t spray tan. I tried that stuff in high school, but I have long ago resigned myself to a life of fair skin, sunscreen and wide-brim hats. That’s just how things have to be. I’ve been genetically blessed with very good skin, texture-wise (which I guess partially makes up for not getting the skinny gene), but still, it’s nothing compared to the radiant glow that Michelle Trachtenberg has in these photos.

Stars are so uniformly baked to a shade of golden brown these days that it’s nice to see someone who maintains her natural look.
