Marc Jacobs Resort 2013 Collection
We don’t expect Marc Jacobs to design wearable clothing, but sometimes he does, and that’s wonderful. His Resort 2013 collection is a little bit clownish but at the same time it is quite stylish, interesting and what is the most important, commercial.
Some of the pieces from Marc Jacobs’ Resort 2013 collection remind costumes – dresses with totally wrong proportions (from the point of view of traditional fashion), oversized shorts and trousers, and of course ensembles consisting of weird-looking robes and underpants.
However, there are quite a lot of commercial pieces in Marc Jacobs’ Resort 2013 range. Sparkling striped tees, jackets and coats as well as A-line dresses with bright interesting prints will definitely become hits with Jacobs’ fans, especially those from celebrity environment like Dakota Fanning, Katy Perry, Leighton Meester and others.
